Refund & Cancellation Policy

At LCBA (Low Cost Budget Airlines), we aim to provide transparent and efficient assistance for your travel needs. Because we act as an independent travel affiliate and facilitator, it is important to understand how refunds and cancellations are processed.

1. General Policy

LCBA is an independent entity and not an airline. All bookings made through our website tools or via our helpline are subject to the specific fare rules and cancellation policies of the airline (e.g., American Airlines, Delta Airlines, etc.) or the third-party booking partner used at the time of purchase.

2. Cancellation Process

  • American & Delta Airlines: If you booked an American or Delta flight through our assistance, you may contact our specialized helpline at 888-727-0199 to request a cancellation or change.

  • Other Airlines: For all other carriers, you must contact the airline directly or the booking platform (e.g., Travelpayouts partners like Kiwi, WayAway, etc.) where the ticket was issued.

  • Fees: Most budget and “Basic Economy” tickets are non-refundable. Airlines may charge a cancellation or change fee depending on the fare type.

3. Refund Eligibility

  • Airline Discretion: Refunds are determined solely by the airline. LCBA does not have the authority to override airline policies or guarantee a refund.

  • Refundable vs. Non-Refundable: If you purchased a “Non-Refundable” ticket, you might only be eligible for an airline credit (voucher) rather than a cash refund.

  • 24-Hour Cancellation Rule: In accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many flights to/from the USA may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of booking, provided the booking was made at least seven days before departure. This is subject to individual airline implementation.

4. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved by the airline:

  • The refund will be credited back to the original form of payment.

  • It typically takes 7–14 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank’s processing time.

5. LCBA Service Fees

  • LCBA may charge a separate, non-refundable service fee for manual assistance provided by our agents for processing changes or cancellations over the phone at 888-727-0199.

  • This fee is for our labor and expertise and is independent of any fees charged by the airline.

6. Flight Cancellations by the Airline

If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you are generally entitled to a refund or rebooking. LCBA will assist American and Delta passengers in navigating these options; however, the airline remains the party responsible for the flight fulfillment.
